Guilt is Natural for Conditioned Humanoids (Mankind)

The symphony is playing
my name was called
it always but i left.
Most f us left when we were kids.
we didn't forget how to be happy
we learned how to feel pain, fear, anger.

Who taught us?
just about everyone.
but at a level of maturity we all have to hit
we gain responsibility for your actions..
We don't act like children who have temper tantrums

we don't yell at others
we don't hit and punch
we don't lie and whisper
we don't but we do.

Guilt seems to be a strong motivator
it can lead you to change, drink, or go to church.
We feel what we have done is wrong
we need to be better..
to be more careful, stronger, wiser, nicer, less angry, etc...
all we want is to be different
we feeel guilty for we are not what we want to be

but we have a lot.
we are all extraordinary and unique..
even twins.
Im better at this and worse at that,
while your better at this and worse at that.
basic.

  1. Guilt is purely operant conditioning on the substrate of our moral intuition. Suffering is a condition of existence. in the opinion of His Holiness B.F. Skinner and his holiness the Buddha.

What people have felt guilty about over time changes. In 1840 I would have felt guilty about not giving my child opiates almost every day. Putting a dividing line - the impermanent self - between myself [sic] and everything else results from clinging to an ego-self. Every force of nature pushes against the outside [sic] of my mortal corpus. Enlightenment comes from the eightfold path and Peanuts cartoons.
